Mark Anderson, Esq. Of Counsel

Mark rejoined Price Law Firm in an of-counsel capacity after an 11-year hiatus, during which he served as the Assistant Chief of the Business and Government Regulation Section of the Attorney General's Office from 1996 to 2001.  In addition to managing the office, Mark maintained his own case load, primarily in administrative hearings.  Mark used that experience to be named as the Executive Director of the Ohio Liquor Control Commission in 2001 and retired from that position in 2008.  While acting as the Executive Director, Mark enhanced his knowledge of Ohio liquor law.

Mark gained his undergraduate degree from Miami University in 1967.  In addition to academics, Mark was on the varsity swimming team and served as a co-captain his senior year.  He then attended and graduated from the Ohio State University College of Law in December, 1969.  After passing the bar exam, Mark served on active duty in the Air Force from 1970 until his retirement in 1991.  During his Air Force career, Mark held several challenging positions, which included being in charge of three base legal offices. The first of these was at Rickenbacker AFB from 1974 to 1977, where, incidentally, he met Gary.  Mark also was the Deputy Chief of the Military Justice Division and was Chief of the General Torts Branch, both at Headquarters Air Force.  In addition to prosecuting and defending trials by court-martial, Mark also served as a Military Judge in General and Special Courts-Martial.  He retired as a Colonel.

Mark is admitted to practice in the U. S. Supreme Court, the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the Supreme Court of Ohio, the Supreme Court of Texas and the U.S. Military Court of Appeals.

Mark has been married to his wife, Pat, for over 35 years.  They have two married daughters, and have been blessed with two granddaughters.  In addition to the practice of law, Mark serves as the Assistant Coach of the Otterbein ladies' tennis team (Pat is the head coach) and officiates tennis and swimming.  When he can find time, Mark enjoys playing tennis.
